We are all familiar with the sound of live music, whether it be a busker on a street corner, or the crescendo of an Orchestra, there is a unmistakable quality to it wherever it be - perhaps most easily summed up with the word ‘energy’.

Sadly most conventional audio replay equipment strangles vibrancy and life from music, losing this vital ingredient and ruining the illusion.

 Our aim at Heretic Audio is to make systems that get as close as possible to reproducing the sound of live music in the comfort of your own home. To do this often requires the use of quite unorthodox, sometimes dated or just plain odd techniques. For this reason we chose our name to reflect the necessity to depart from the norm.
